HOLUBEC, J. Teaching of music in schools in French-speaking Switzerland

(aimed at secondary schools)

The article deals with the teaching of music in Swiss secondary schools (colleges). It is described the content of teaching music at each grade level, instrumental instruction and work in the choir. The article also deals with teaching materials. Music is one of important subjects, which are allocated a sufficient number of hours.

KUSÁK, J. Folklore in Leisure Preferences of the Music Education Students

The article reflects problems of folklore as an attribute of the folk culture in the schools and leisure preferences of the music education students in Department of Music Education in University of Ostrava. The article presents the results of the exploratory investigation in the period 2005-2011 which describes the relationship of the music education students in music, dance and verb folklore.Poslech
